RB-3 is a novel inhibitor of polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1), directly binding to RING1B–BMI1, disrupting the interaction with nucleosomes, decreasing the global level of H2A ubiquitination and inducing differentiation in leukemia cell lines and primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
